Valentines Treats

posted on: Wednesday, February 2

With Valentines Day on the horizon I decided to make a batch of nonpareils candies {aka button candies} to include with some packages that I'm getting ready to send out for a card exchange {more on that later}. They were quick and easy to make, and I opted for semi-sweet and white chocolate with fun colored sprinkles. I then packaged them up in some cute treat bags and, of course enjoyed sampling a bag myself! Find the recipe here. Hint: I spooned the melted chocolate into baggies and snipped the corner off {like icing a cake} and it made it very easy to achieve nice nickel sized circles.

  1. These are the cutest, and look soooo good! My stomach is literally making noises while I'm oogling your pictures. YUM!

  2. Super cute! I'm a white chocolate fan myself :) The recipe could not be easier.

  3. Whoever gets those candies is probably the luckiest person in the ENTIRE world. I've never had candies like that, so I'm a liiiitle jealous :)

And I randomly found your blog through IFB, and I'm so happy I did. I am happily a new follower :)

  5. So cute! I used your baggie method to pipe white chocolate hearts for my Valentines Day cupcakes.
